Our Story
Lickem Lips BBQ was established in 2012 by Shane Camp and his mother, Janice Camp. As members of the Kansas City Barbecue Society, they traveled the country, competing in numerous BBQ competitions. Their hard work and passion paid off as they racked up many trophies, earning them a reputation for mouthwatering, award-winning BBQ.
In 2024, Shane and his wife, Jennifer, decided to bring their love for BBQ to the public by building a food trailer—turning their passion into a mobile BBQ experience. Since then, Lickem Lips BBQ has been serving up delicious, lip-smackin' meals on the go, sharing the same flavors that made them competition champions.
Proudly veteran-owned and operated, Lickem Lips BBQ is a true family business, built on the values of hard work, dedication, and service. Though Janice is no longer with us, her spirit and love for cooking live on in every dish we serve. We know she’s smiling down on us, proud of how her legacy continues as we carry her passion for BBQ forward. It’s more than just food—it’s a family tradition, and we’re thrilled to share it with you.
